Worldline ("the site") is run by [OPERATOR NAME] ("we"). By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms and to the community rules.

Your account

• You must be at least [16] years old to create an account.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• One person, one account. Don't create accounts to get around a suspension.

What you publish

• You keep the rights to the worlds and writing you create. By publishing them here you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, translate and format them so the site can show them to readers. The licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies kept briefly in backups.
• Only publish what you have the right to publish.
• Content that breaks the community rules may be hidden or removed, and accounts that break them repeatedly may be suspended. Decisions are made by people and can be appealed by contacting us.
• When you write inside someone else's world, the world's owner decides what enters their world's canon and may remove works from their world.

AI features, credits and memberships

• Reading and writing by hand are free. AI features cost credits, charged according to how much the AI reads and writes for each request.
• When you use an AI feature, the text involved is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to produce the result. See the privacy policy.
• AI output can be wrong. The site labels what the AI wrote; you decide what to keep.
• Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred, and are used only on this site. [Credits don't expire / Credits expire after 12 months.]
• A membership renews monthly until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page; it stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
• Refunds: [describe your policy, e.g. unused credit packs can be refunded within 14 days of purchase], and as required by law where you live.

The service

We try to keep the site running and your work safe, but the site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Keep your own copies of anything important. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may change the site or these terms. If a change matters, we'll say so on the site before it takes effect.

Ending

You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the community rules.
